Hi! I’m Anna and I live in the South of England with my lovely and patient husband, two sweet sensitive daughters, a couple of guinea pigs and two chickens. We are a creative family with a great love for Nature and our home life. I enjoy reading, looking after our animals and all things creative; especially writing, knitting, sewing, gardening, and homemaking. My daughters attend a local Steiner (Waldorf) school where they are thriving. We try to live a Waldorf inspired life, taking our lead from the seasons and nature. I am interested in health and nutrition and in generally finding out more about everything holistic and soul nurturing.

I have been blogging here for over a year now, wanting to share what I have learned and what we do, in the hope that it may encourage, inspire or help others in some small way. It is also my wish to capture and record these precious, fleeting years of family life whilst my daughters (10 and 8) are still young enough to let me – I wish I had started earlier!  I love being a mother and homemaker – it is a vocation and I embrace it fully. My motto is cosy and colourful 🙂 Family life can be so full, chaotic and sometimes unharmonious, but here I wish to focus on what is good, what works, the joys and the things for which I am grateful, in the hope that in more challenging times, I will be able to see the goodness that is always there.  I am enjoying sharing and connecting with like minded folks.  Do drop me a message –  I really do appreciate the connection.

Welcome to my blog. I hope you feel at home here 🙂
